Today at the MACUL (Michigan Association of Computer Users for Learning) Conference I attended two pre-conference workshops. The first conference was about podcasting. I thought it was very interesting, as that we always have kids dying to do GarageBand. Now my challenge is to get the podcasting up and going, and be sure to tie it to our curriculum GLCE's (Grade Level Content Expectations). The second workshop was on blogging. I know blogging has gotten a bad name with the controversial content many computer users have posted, but on this webspace, any comments will be filtered through me, the administrator, so rest assured that only appropriate content will be posted. I look forward to applying my learning to assist my students in being better prepared for the challenges the 21st century will provide.
